Sometimes we forget that schooling and learning involves more than reading, writing and arithmetic. It involves more than learning adult stuff. We also need to grow in knowledge and understanding in the Lord and in His Word. God’s Word is the very anchor for all our lives. It gives our lives the guidance and the purpose we need. It tells us how to live in a God-pleasing way, and it tells us how and why we are saved by God’s grace in Christ Jesus.

This is why our church is so important.

Jesus is your Savior. Jesus paid the price for all your sin. Jesus gives you eternal life, and Jesus leads you through the joys and pitfalls of this life. The world would swallow us up without Jesus, but He is here for you in Word and Sacrament.

So this school year, please remember the one thing necessary for families or singles alike — hearing God’s Word preached and receiving his body and blood.

Help us to meet and exceed our goals

Thank you so much for showing your support for Trinity Lutheran Church and School!  The Trinity spirit wear orders have been placed.  The total that you owe to Trinity has been emailed to you April 21, 2016.  Checks should be made payable to Trinity Lutheran School.  The shirt orders should arrive the first week of May.

It is our tradition at Trinity Lutheran School to have a time of worship and celebration during Holy Week, which is the week before Easter.  We gather as a school family and remember Jesus’ suffering and death on the cross to take our sins away, and we rejoice at His victory on Easter when He rose from the dead.  This year, all the students participated in making this cross.  Using popsicle sticks, each child colored one or more using either “warm” colors or “cool” colors.  The result was this beautiful cross, put together and framed by one of our parents.  What a wonderful reminder of Jesus’ love for us and how His love makes us a family.

Our kids are also collecting boxtops from participating companies. With each boxtop returned to the school the company donates a percentage of the purchase to the school.

We were impressed with the staff and program at Trinity. It has been a great experience for my preschooler and he loves coming to school every week!
