CHEER CARDS & LETTERS

Trinity has members and friends who are continually homebound (and many who are unable to have visitors under current conditions).

  • Write letters of encouragement or make and decorate cards.

  • Use any kind of paper, markers, crayons, stickers – whatever you have on hand - OR DOWNLOAD THESE SCRIPTURE CARDS AND NOTECARDS FROM CHURCH ART.

  • Use phrases such as “God Bless You,” “Jesus Loves You,” “We are praying for you,” “We are thinking about you,” and add positive Bible verses (you can look some up at www.Biblegateway.com).

  • Email Secretary@TrinityLombard.org and request a list of addresses to mail cards (please state how many cards you have made) or request arrangement for a pick up of the finished cards.

READ THE EASTER STORY
Find it in the Gospels - Matthew 27 & 28, Mark 15 & 16, Luke 23 & 24, and John 19 & 20. Use an age-appropriate children’s Bible such as the Faith Alive Bible from Concordia Publishing House (it’s the version we give children 3rd grade and up at Trinity). Don’t have a Bible handy? Find the Scriptures at www.Biblegateway.com.
