Preschool Aide

Sometimes the Lord works in mysterious ways! As a young mother, l was asked to become an aide at a secular preschool. The educational requirement was high school graduation. After five years, a position became available at my church's nursery school. I was delighted to then be able to share the love of Jesus with the children in a Christian setting for ten years. During that time, l earned my associate degree in early childhood and became director of the school. Further blessings came when we became members of Trinity, Lombard, and l joined the staff here with its full grade school and family atmosphere. It has continued to be my joy  to be able to be involved even after my retirement,  especially since one of my favorite students has become my "boss."
