Mr. James Baerenklau
5th & 6th Grade
God has blessed me by allowing me to start my thirty-first year in Lutheran education this 2020-2021 school year. I am a graduate of Concordia University Chicago in River Forest, Illinois, and have served most of my time in the Chicago area. I believe that education and learning are continuous processes that never end. It is important to prepare children for all facets of life. It is our job to make their education a lasting part of life. In order to effectively teach children, we need to know how they are as people. The environment provided at a Christian school is part of what enables our children to succeed. I enjoy sharing the love of our Lord at Trinity. As the Lord has called me to teach His children, I often think of what He tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
My favorite bible verse is Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through him who gives me strength."
